Our Vision

Living, Learning and Growing Together

Through living, learning and growing together we nurture each individual’s uniqueness and potential so that they may enjoy life in all its fullness.

John 10:10

Core Values

Our Christian values are: Celebrating Life, Good Choices, Friendship, Perseverance, Peace and Love.

Each one of these underpins our CORE vision. Love is the value that all of the others are based upon and therefore is our main core value. In the Bible we learn that “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

Ethos Statement

Community: We actively promote a sense of community in our school; the physical and emotional safety of everyone in our school community underpins everything we do. We are committed to building safe, caring and compassionate relationships which are the foundation for effective teaching and learning.

Opportunity: We aim for excellence for everyone, by providing a wide range of opportunities that empower all to achieve their full potential. Together, we are committed to creating an environment that fosters teamwork, respect, integrity and openness to innovation and new ideas. We believe that teamwork is a powerful assert and that each team member brings their own expertise and experience to our community.

Resilience: We believe that our pupils need to be able to respond confidently to the change or uncertainties they will face in life. We encourage self-motivation, determination and personal well-being throughout our broad and varied curriculum. We aim to ensure that our children can overcome adversity and challenge. Pupils are empowered to have high aspirations for their futures. We nurture and challenge pupils to take responsibility, make decisions and work together so the grow into confident and resilient young people.

Equality: we are a respectful community that celebrates diversity whilst being united in a common purpose. We respect each other’s abilities and individuality, taking an inclusive approach to meeting needs and removing barriers. We will ensure all children have access to an engaging and exciting curriculum that promotes learning and achievement.
