Over the past few weeks, we have taken part in a variety of football activities as part of the #MonsterKickabout initiative.
Today, we used our new footballs and bibs to host some inter-class football matches.
We have also set up some skills-based challenges as well as using some of the other resources to design our own Top Trumps cards, football kits and football mascots.
It has been amazing to see so many of our children getting involved!
Thanks to our playleaders and Sports Direct for making this possible.

We were incredibly proud of our Year 6 children who represented us at the Axminster Armistice Day act of Remembrance. The local community joined together to reflect and show their gratitude at 11am this morning. The children from Chardstock, alongside those from other local schools, showed their respect and read beautifully during the service. Lest We Forget.

We've had a fantastic 'Disco Friday' today!
Our wonderful Friends Of School have bought us some new pompoms and ribbons to enjoy whilst we're dancing to the music.
Thank you to our FoS committee and everyone who supports their events in order to raise money for these extra treats for us in school.

A group of year 5 children attended a sporting challenge event at Bicton College this morning.
They took part in a wide range of activities - earning certificates, stickers and even a t-shirt along the way!
Each of them showed amazing determination and were wonderful representatives of our school.

During their art lessons this half term, Owls Class are exploring prehistoric art. This week the children foraged on site for natural items to paint with. They also made their own paint using flour, water and spices/herbs. It was a really enjoyable lesson despite the wet weather.

After some very heavy rain yesterday, the sky brightened and the sun shone for the start of this season's cross country races.
Everyone did an incredible job and finished with very soggy feet but with smiling faces! Congratulations to all of our runners.

We did it! We received the gold award for the School Games Mark for the third consecutive year. We just want to say a special thank you to Miss Grabham, who is our PE Coordinator here at St. Andrew's. She works really hard to arrange all of our fantastic PE sessions, sports events, competitions and visitors.
